The highly structured environment at West Lawrence Care Center enables the residents to maximize their capabilities and independence while maintaining their dignity. A multidisciplinary team formulates Individualized Care and Treatment Plans for each resident's specific needs.
Advanced Wound Care
Nurses who specialize in pressure ulcers perform wound care on a daily basis or per physician orders. Additionally, a physician who specializes in wound care makes rounds on a weekly basis. Consultant physicians are able to perform bedside visits as medically necessary. Our professional staff also fortifies the healing process by providing a wound vac for individuals with advanced needs.
Rehabilitation
A full range of rehabilitation services are provided. They include - Physical, Occupational, Speech, and Respiratory Therapies. West Lawrence Care Center works closely with the therapy group to ensure restoration of physical functioning so that any individual is able to return home upon successful completion of their therapeutic stay. After the completion of rehabilitation goals, we also offers Restorative Nursing Care in which the nurses and Certified Nurse Assistants continue therapeutic exercises ordered by licensed professionals.
